Special Constable Appointments
Special Constable Appointment under the Nova Scotia Police Act sec. 88
To become a Special Constable, one must be:
- 19 years of age,
- a Canadian Citzen or permanent resident, and
- an employee of the company requiring the service or the company contracted to provide the service.
The Application must be accompanied by:
- two recent photographs (passport size preferred) or digital image saved to a disk, and
- a copy of a government issued photo identification card (copy of front and back). A valid Driver's Licence or Nova Scotia Identification Card is peferred. Identification must show applicant's date of birth and signature.
