New NS Law Affects Contracts & Proposals

If your answer to the above question is “Yes”, then contracts that you sign with the above entities, or proposals that you submit in response to Nova Scotia (NS) public tenders may be affected by a new NS law titled the Personal Information International Disclosure Protection Act (PIIDPA).

As a new or existing service provider to the above entities, you are eligible to attend a PIIDPA Information Session that is being sponsored by the NS Department of Justice. This session will provide information about the Act, including the obligations under this law for government and its service providers, with respect to the projects in which your company (or you) may be employed.
