The Province of Nova Scotia opened an office in Ottawa in 2006 to increase its presence and visibility in the nation's capital. The office also serves as a base for Nova Scotia government officials, with facilities designated for their use. It has meeting space that can be used by both government officials and business and community leaders who may be in Ottawa to advance the interests of Nova Scotia.
