A delegation representing the European Commission in the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement Negotiations  visited Nova Scotia's House of Assembly today

For the first time ever in Canada's international trade negotiations, Nova Scotia will join the other provinces and territories at six of the twelve Canada-EU negotiating tables in talks to address trade and investment issues that fall within provincial jurisdiction in Canada.

Premiers, Governors Pledge to Transition to Green Economy

Eastern Canadian provinces and New England states have pledged to work together on regional initiatives to advance the green economy, Premier Darrell Dexter said.

The joint commitment was made today, Sept. 15, at the 33rd annual conference of New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers in Saint John, N.B.
