Customized Training Modules

The commission provides custom-designed training programs for organizations with 50 or more employees. The length and content are tailored to meet the specific needs of organizations through consultation with commission trainers and the organization.

The process has three steps:

• consultation with the trainer to identify needs and systemic issues within the organization
• a follow-up meeting to design a program to meet the organization's needs
• training with participating staff

Mandated Training

Training can be mandated as part of a settlement agreement following dispute resolution. These training sessions are required by law as a result of the approval of the settlement agreement. They are confidential and usually based on specific issues related to the complaint. The cost associated with this type of training is $150 per person, per day (excluding meals).
