Where to go for help
Now that you know what a yellow flag moment is, keep an eye on yourself and your friends. If you're noticing too many of the warning signs, it may be time to consider your options.
It's important to realize that help is available. You are not alone — many people have or know someone who has drinking problems. The best thing you can do is get informed and get the help you need.
It all starts with a phone call
The first step to getting help is to pick up the phone and call your local Addiction Services office.
In Nova Scotia, an entire range of addiction services are provided free of charge through Nova Scotia's District Health Authorities and the IWK. Like any health care service, no one will know you called or came in and your information will be kept in strictest confidence.
