Policy and Planning
The Policy and Planning team at Health Promotion and Protection supports the Deputy Minister and Executive Team members through:
- Leadership in departmental and interdepartmental strategy and policy development,
- Coordination and guidance in annual business plan and accountability report writing and coordination,
- Strategic, responsive and coordinated liaison to the Treasury and Policy Board and the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs on behalf of HPP,
- Legislative, regulatory, cabinet submission and ministerial briefing process coordination and support,
- Intergovernmental relations policy leadership, strategic advice, process coordination and support to the Minister, Deputy Minister and other senior officials, and
- Executive team agenda management and support.
