The HPP finance team works closely with HPP senior program staff to ensure that the department's $87.5 million budget is spent where it will have the greatest impact on the health of Nova Scotians.

Government continues to invest in Health Promotion and Protection, as evidenced by the growth of our department's staff and budget since inception in 2003.

The finance team handles budget, forecasting, financial planning, analysis, and administrative support to ensure that Nova Scotia's tax dollars go back to work in our communities, helping us to become the healthiest province in Canada.
