Mumps General Information

Mumps Vaccination Program

Nova Scotia's post-secondary students can get a second dose of mumps, measles and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

The program not only covers all students studying at Nova Scotia's public and private post-secondary institutions, but also all Nova Scotia students enrolled as post-secondary students outside our province.

Under the program, vaccinations are available at on-campus health services offices or from family doctors. Students are encouraged to get the vaccine during the summer, if possible, before returning to school.
