Smoke-free Places Act - In-vehicle Amendment


An amendment to the Smoke-free Places Act prohibits smoking in a motor vehicle with passengers under the age of 19. This legislation, which comes into effect April 1, 2008, is binding regardless of whether any window, sunroof, cartop, door, or other feature of the vehicle is open.

Remember, when you smoke, everyone else around you smokes.
