Organized Sport - defined as a regulated form of physical activity that involves formal rules and procedures to ensure a safe and fair outcome for all participants, requires a competitive format and structure sanctioned by a recognized sport governing body or a member of Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation (NSSAF).


Physical Recreation/Activity - defined as any leisure activity that contributes to overall well-being through elevated energy expenditures that result in improved endurance, strength, flexibility or agility.
