Going Green

Is there a pile of unused conference bags collecting dust in your closet?

If so, the RAI Conference Planning Committee wants your bags to go green.

This year’s RAI Canadian Conference would like to integrate a “go green” approach into the event by “Pulling It All Together”. To cut down on waste production, we are asking all delegates to recycle their old conference bags by bringing their favourite to the 2009 RAI Canadian Conference event to carry their delegate materials.

Prizes will be awarded to the delegate with the conference bag from the following categories:

  • The farthest destination
  • The most unusual
  • The oldest conference bag
  • The most “well used” conference bag

What happens if I forget to bring an old bag? How will I carry my material?

If you have forgotten to bring an old bag, there is no need to worry. There will be some bags available, however we encourage you to help us by “Pulling it all Together” and put your bags to work by going green.

2009 Canadian RAI Conference Handouts

In keeping with our approach to "go green", the RAI Conference Planning Committee have identified session Handouts as a source where we can reduce waste production.

Handouts will be available to conference registrants by electronic link but won't be distributed at the conference sessions.

The link to access the Handouts will be sent to registrants by e-mail allowing "Pulling It All Together" by the participant's individual interests.

Watch your e-mail for your Handout link and thank you for joining us in this green activity!
