Directory of French Speaking Primary Health Care Providers

This Directory was developed for Acadians and francophones in Nova Scotia to improve their access to French-speaking primary health care providers.

The Directory offers a list of French speaking health professionals who are willing to offer primary health care services in French. Primary health care is defined as the first point of contact for individuals with the health care system and the first element of the continuing care process.

If you are a primary health care provider and want to be included in this directory, or update your information, please contact the RSNÉ at 902-762-2074 or send an E-mail to reseau@reseausanteNE.ca

The Directory is a work-in-progress and is continually being expanded and enhanced to better serve the health needs of French-speaking Nova Scotians.

Contributions:

Réseau Santé – Nouvelle-Écosse led the development of this Directory in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Health, with project funding from Health Canada . We appreciate the participation of the province's District Health Authorities, IWK Health Centre, Professional Associations/Regulatory Bodies, and the many health care providers who participated.
