EHS LifeFlight provides scene response to all areas of Nova Scotia. Emergency services (Fire Departments, Police, Paramedics, Ground Search & Rescue, etc.) have undergone a 4 1/2 hour certified training course on proper launch criteria, LZ selection / setup / control, etc. Only those individuals that have taken this training are allowed to act as an "EHS LifeFlight Landing Zone Officer". To date, over 5000 emergency service personnel throughout Nova Scotia have taken this "Ground Crew Safety & Scene Course". Safety is our number one priority for all those involved, both in the air and on the ground.
