Home Oxygen
Patients who rely on oxygen will have greater mobility thanks to a change in the provincial Home Oxygen Program. Starting on April 1, 2007 Nova Scotians in the Home Oxygen Program will have access to a monthly supply of portable oxygen.
This Continuing Care Strategy initiative is one more way the province is providing the support Nova Scotians need to stay in their homes and continue to live well.
Through Home Oxygen Services, the province also provides Nova Scotians with access to oxygen for use in the home.
