NovaSource Notice:

Some time ago, NovaSource, the N.S. Government Directory of Records, was removed from this site because of the inaccuracy and incompleteness of a large amount of information that it contained. It was noted that a review of NovaSource would be conducted to determine whether it should be continued. As a result of a review of the use and utility of NovaSource , it has been decided to remove this directory from the N.S. Government Web Site. This decision was reached because:

• it is difficult, if not impossible, to guarantee accuracy and completeness of the information on a government wide basis;
• departments now provide an extensive amount of information about their department on their own departmental web sites;
• although web site visitors were asked to provide feedback, there were very few expressions of interest for the directory to be maintained.

This notice will be maintained for 30-day period, and then the posting will be completely removed.
