Geography Awareness Day in Nova Scotia

If you are feeling on top of the world, you won’t want to miss Geography Awareness Day in your neighbourhood.

GeoNOVA will be hosting a Geography Awareness event at the Maritime Centre (1505 Barrington Street, Halifax NS) from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Department of National Defence; Halifax Regional Municipality; Nova Scotia Power; Department of Natural Resources; College of Geographic Science; Nova Scotia Geomatics Centre; and of course GeoNOVA will be displaying mapping products and showing how geography is used in everyday work. There will also be cake, and prizes. Come check us out.
