GeoNOVA is pleased to announce the release of a new re-vamped application for downloading Nova Scotia geographic data called the GeoNOVA Data Download Service 2

GeoNOVA has been working in collaboration with several partners including the Nova Scotia Geomatics Centre and the Department of Agriculture to allow several different digital geographic products available for direct download. The application is targeted to geomatics users who have desktop systems that can display and analyze geographic information. The goal of the application is to expand and include as much digital geographic information as possible from GeoNOVA partners including provincial departments, agencies and municipalities.

The new GeoNOVA Data Download Service contains the following digital mapping products: Nova Scotia Topographic Database (1:10,000 Resource Mapping Series), Nova Scotia Geographic Names, and maps from the Department of Agriculture. Stay tuned for the addition of NSCAF information and other Provincial data sets.
