Action on Forestry

In 2010, there were three major pulp and paper mills operating in Nova Scotia, and a total of 164 sawmills registered across the province. Of that, 22 sawmills accounted for almost 98 per cent of total sawmill production. There are also more than 30,000 woodlots.
