Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture has lake surveys on over 1000 lakes in the province. Each survey contains a depth contour map of the lake as well as data on water quality, fish species, recent stocking history etc. These lake surveys are available at a cost of $1.00 each (tax is included). To purchase lake surveys, please write to the Department at the address below and let us know the name of the lake and county it is located in (include the site code if there is more than one lake with the same name). You must also include payment to cover the cost of the surveys - cash, cheque or money order (payable to the NS Dept of Fisheries & Aquaculture). We do not accept credit cards.
