The Seafood
Development and Innovation group of the Nova Scotia Department
of Fisheries & Aquaculture provides technical and project
support to commercial fishers, aquaculturists, processors
and fishing boat builders in coastal communities of Nova
Scotia; supports development and demonstration projects
as a means of introducing new and improved technology to
the industry; and provides administration and support to
the federal-provincial Cooperation Agreement For Economic
Diversification relating to aquaculture, Sport fishery development,
and boat building.
