How do I browse data?

A community embodies a wide range of characteristics. Nova Scotia Community Counts presents socio-economic and other data that illustrate the unique nature of each community. With easily accessible information, Community Counts also allows comparisons of community resources among regional, provincial, and national levels to present a more complete picture of Nova Scotian communities. Recent Updates (as of July 2, 2008)

Aquaculture Sites by Species of Fish is now available under the Production subject.
2006 Census data is now available for the following tables: Income Distribution by Individuals.
A new Vital Stats table is now available under the Social subject: Marriages and Marriage Rates.
Updated Vital Stats data (up to 2006) is now available the following tables: Births and Deaths by Gender and Deaths by Cause.
Population Projections data has been updated for 2007 to 2031.
2005 Distribution of Income data is now available.
2004/2005 and 2005/2006 Migration Estimates data is now available.
New thematic maps based on the 2006 Demographic data are now available.
