Dawn Russell Appointed to Federal Securities Committee
Nova Scotia law professor Dawn Russell has been appointed to represent the province on a federal advisory committee on securities regulation, Finance Minister Graham Steele announced today, Oct. 15.

The Financial Measures (2009) Act, supporting a number of measures in the 2009-10 provincial budget, was introduced today, Oct. 2, by Finance Minister Graham Steele.

• Deloitte Phase Two Report
  The province has received the final report of the Deloitte review of Nova Scotia's finances.   The Province of Nova Scotia Financial Review – Phase 2 looks at technical questions related to accounting and budgeting in government departments and third-party agencies.  Phase 2 Report (pdf).
• Addressing Nova Scotia's Fiscal Challenge
  The report prepared by the Nova Scotia Economic Advisory Panel for Premier Darrell Dexter is available from the Office of Policy and Priorities.
• 2009-2010 Budget
  The Honourable Graham Steele presents the Nova Scotia 2009-2010 Budget to the House of Assembly.  Budget documents are available here.
