Dawn Russell Appointed to Federal Securities Committee
Nova Scotia law professor Dawn Russell has been appointed to represent the province on a federal advisory committee on securities regulation, Finance Minister Graham Steele announced today, Oct. 15.

The Financial Measures (2009) Act, supporting a number of measures in the 2009-10 provincial budget, was introduced today, Oct. 2, by Finance Minister Graham Steele.

Province Proclaims Securities Act Amendments
The province proclaimed amendments to the Securities Act to support the final phase of the securities regulation passport system, which begins today, Sept. 28.
