The Department of Finance has purchased internet license agreements for the data sources used in the Nova Scotia Community Counts system. Community Counts data may be extracted, analysed and distributed in reports, provided that the source on the bottom of each data table or chart is cited on all related documents. The Nova Scotia Department of Finance is the owner or a licensor of all intellectual property rights (including copyright) in this data product. The Department makes no representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind and shall not be liable in any manner for any representation, warranty or condition of any kind, whether express or implied, or whether arising by operation of law or otherwise including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for purpose. In no event shall the Nova Scotia Department of Finance be liable to a user for any damages whatsoever arising in any manner under or in connection with use of this site. Statistics Canada information is used with the permission of Statistics Canada. Users are forbidden to copy the data and redisseminate them, in an original or modified form, for commercial purposes, without the expressed permission of Statistics Canada.
