Who We Are


Nova Scotia Community Counts is an program located within the Economics and Statistics division of the Nova Scotia Department of Finance, established to develop a statistical infrastructure system of information about Nova Scotian communities.

Nova Scotia Community Counts has been adapted from Community Accounts, a similar program that was launched to the public by the Newfoundland and Labrador government in 2002 in support of Newfoundland and Labrador's Strategic Social Plan.
