Applications will be considered for both current vacancies and openings that arise in the coming year (between April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014). As a result, applications may take considerable time to process. Please note that all applications are treated as 'active' for two years from date received.
Adjudicative ABCs consider evidence; make findings of fact and law, and issue decisions affecting a person's liberty, security, or legal rights. The spring 2013 deadline for applying to be a member of an Adjudicative ABC is now closed.
Non-Adjudicative ABCs make financial, regulatory, business, or policy decisions, or recommendations to government that have far-reaching implications for all Nova Scotians. Applications for Non-Adjudicative ABCs are welcome any time since consideration of applications for positions is ongoing.
