Adjudicative Advisory Committees

Since January, 2003, applications to the Province’s adjudicative ABCs have been reviewed by non-partisan advisory committees. These committees recommend the most qualified candidates for appointment to the Minister.

Each advisory committee is made up of a government human resource professional, two civil servants, and two volunteer lay members. The lay member appointments are for a term of two years. Vacancies for the lay member positions are advertised in the provincial newspapers as vacancies arise.

For more information on the process followed by the advisory committees, please see their Terms of Reference (PDF).
