Scotia Energy Electricity - Net Metering Program

Renewable energy is crucial to securing a greener, cleaner Nova Scotia.

To help make renewable energy more accessible, Nova Scotia Power Inc. has a program called Net Metering.

Residential and commercial customers can connect small, renewable energy generating units to the provincial power grid.

With this approach, Nova Scotians have the opportunity to use renewables for their own energy needs while at the same time having the security of being able to draw from the grid, if necessary.
