Job Creation Partnerships is an employment program of Employment Nova Scotia that supports projects that provide eligible individuals with work experience leading to enhanced employment-related skills.
The Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) is a program designed to support projects that will provide eligible participants with meaningful work experience that will improve their employment prospects. While project activities should benefit both the participant and the community, the focus of JCP is to aid participants in acquiring work experience that will assist them in finding full time employment.

To be eligible for participation in Job Creation Partnerships, you must be an unemployed individual ("insured participant") as defined by Section 58 of the Employment Insurance Act. This means that you are an individual for whom:

Businesses, organizations, municipalities, band/tribal councils, public health and educational institutions.
Proposed activities must support the objective of Job Creation Partnerships. Activities must also have defined start and finish dates and not be part of a sponsor's day-to-day operations.
As part of the application process, it is necessary for you to receive an employment assessment and develop a Return to Work Action Plan with a case manager. The case manager's decision is required before Employment Nova Scotia can assess your application.
