2012 Tourism Plan
The province is working collaboratively with industry through the new
Nova Scotia Tourism Agency on a
long-term strategy for tourism, which will help Nova Scotia reach its fullest potential in a highly competitive global market. During this strategic planning phase, we have not published a 2012 Tourism Plan. For business planning and funding purposes, please reference the

Nova Scotia Tourism and Saltscapes are once again partnered to publish a 5 month package destination calendar, offering consumer ready getaways. The Winterscapes Calendar Program is a unique marketing vehicle with a focus on packaged product. In this calendar, we will continue to lure customers to the actual product that they can experience… and BUY!
YOUR packages will receive high-profile distribution and a large volume impression base from early December, 2011, through to May 31, 2012. The 2012 guide will take the format of a five-month calendar filled with festivals, events and other great ways to enjoy Nova Scotia in the winter and spring. It promises to maximize your opportunity with regional consumers by offering country and coastal getaways to long weekends in the cities-filled with exciting events, culinary delights, romance, rejuvenation and tons of family fun!
