French-language Services Plan 2010-11
Economic and Rural Development works to ensure our Acadian and francophone communities have access to a greater number of services in the French language. This is being done through the implementation of the Nova Scotia French-language Services Act. ERD routinely examines the level of services offered in French and, when appropriate, makes information materials available in both languages.
With its French-language services policy, Nova Scotia acknowledges the important contribution of the Acadian and francophone community to the character and success of this province. By creating better access to government services in French, the vitality of this community is ensured.
