2009 CEDIF Annual General Meeting(s)07.13.2009
Plans are underway to hold this years annual general meeting of Funds and persons interested in learning more about what these Funds are, who is involved and what opportunities may be available in their communities. Over the past few years, these meetings have been well-attended and have been held at the Museum of Industry in Stellarton (once at the Marigold in Truro).
This year, we are looking at holding two meetings, with one in Cape Breton and the other in Mainland NS, likely in the Kentville area. This is being looked into to reduce travel time and distance for participants.
A tentative date of Thursday, August 27th for the Valley meeting and early in September for the CB meeting. We continue to work with partners to develop a meaningful agenda and to finalize presenters. Anyone who has ideas in this regard is encouraged to contact Chris Payne (paynecj@gov.ns.ca).
We would like to get an idea of possible numbers of attendees and would appreciate any feedback you can provide as to your intention to attend either/both events.
