Nine Funds Open For Investment

Three more Funds have received their Letters of non-objection from the Nova Scotia Securities Commission, and their Equity Tax Credit Certificates from the department of finance. There are now nine Funds soliciting for investment.

4EverSports  New!
This Fund will invest the proceeds into the operations of 4EverSports, a Sydney-based developer of wireless products and services for golf courses.

BCA Investment Co-operative Limited  New!
BCA is developing a pool of capital which invests into business opportunities in Cape Breton.

New Dawn  New!
New Dawn intents to invest proceeds into businesses within the New Dawn family of companies.

Black Business Community Investment Fund Ltd (BBCIFL)
BBCIFL seeks capital to invest into Black owned business (>30%) throughout Nova Scotia.

Just Us! Fair Trade Investment Co-op Ltd
Just Us! seeks capital to invest into this progressive worker owned cooperative that deals in Fair Trade coffee and other associated Fair Trade and organic products.

Vale Corporate Training (Ledgehill)
Invested proceeds of the first offering are going into developing the Ledgehill facility. Additional capital will be required to carry out the next phase of the long-term development plan.

Valley Funeral Coop
2004 is the first offering. They will invest proceeds into the development of a cooperative funeral home in the Coldbrook/Kentville area.

Victoria County
2004 is the first offering. They will invest the proceeds into the Victoria County Coop store in Baddeck. The funds will be used to repatriate long term debt currently held outside the Province. This Fund will pay an annual dividend of 4.9%.

Windsor Super 8 Motel
Windsor Super 8 Motel seeks capital to invest into the equity of a new motel to be built in Windsor, near the exhibition grounds.
