What is a CEDIF?

Simplified Offering Documents

The Simplified Offering Document must be completed by the Corporation. It outlines what the investor is purchasing with their investment funds. It details who is making the shares (or units) available, what the total value of the offering should be and how the funds are to be invested. Completing this document is key to establishing a CEDIF.

This is a legal document and requires careful input. The Corporation should seek legal advice before submitting a completed Simplified Offering Document.

It is expected that there will be multiple submissions to the Commission prior to receiving a "letter of non-objection", which is required prior to soliciting investment.

The time required to review the offering document will vary according to the quality and completeness of the document filed.
