The Disabled Persons Commission - a range of resources for people with any kind of disability including ADHD and learning disabilities. Get information on funding, on-campus supports and distance education, employment, and how to prepare for emergencies
APSEA, the Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority - services for anyone in the Atlantic provinces aged 21 and under who is deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, blind, or visually impaired. Offers help for parents, support for students, training for teachers, and employment help for older youth
RRAP, Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program for Persons with Disabilities - a Canada Mortgage and Housing site where you can find out about funding to adapt a home for someone with a disability
Service Canada for People with Disabilities - information about programs and services for people with disabilities, particularly financial services and tips on living with a disability or caring for someone who has one
Nova Scotia Community Services: Persons with Disabilities - information about Nova Scotia government programs and services for people with intellectual disabilities, long-term mental illness, and physical disabilities. This includes children, youth, and adults
CSSD, Canadian Society for Social Development and IBDE, Internet Business Development for Entrepreneurs - employment and skills training for people with disabilities. These organizations also develop programs in entrepreneurship, leadership, and distance learning. Includes a virtual mall
