The NSBA Prototype Boat Loan Facility is available to Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association Gold Members who have their place of boatbuilding business in the Province of Nova Scotia. This program gives members the opportunity to develop new products for export as well as for the fishery and recreational markets. Over the past five years, Nova Scotia's boat building industry has introduced 30 prototype products to market.
The loan program is funded by Nova Scotia Economic Development, with the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board providing technical and administrative services.
