OTHER PROJECTS
ecoNova Scotia for Clean Air and Climate Change will support projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other air pollution.
Only $27.5 million of the $42.5 million has been allocated so far. That includes:
- $7.5 M for municipal program
- $9.5 M for environmental technology program
- $3.5 M for capital health conversion to natural gas
- $2.0 M to Minas Basin Pulp and Power co-gereration project
- $5.0 M to Tidal Energy Demonstration project
There will be additional clean air and climate change initiatives that receive support from ecoNova Scotia fund in the future. Details will follow as these projects develop.
