Lone Parent Student Affordable Rental Housing

The department is funding a limited number of affordable rental housing units for low-income singe parents attending university.

Eligibility

To qualify a lone parent student must be:

• enrolled full time at an accredited university in Nova Scotia, and working toward a first undergraduate degree;
• the lone custodial parent;
• eligible for public housing; and
• be approved for Nova Scotia Student Assistance.
