Supported Child Care Grant

The purpose of the Supported Child Care Grant program is to provide a stable source of funding to assist in the creation or enhancement to existing inclusive child care programs for children with special needs.

Funding provided through the Supported Child Care Grant can be allocated towards the following:

• salary for new or existing staff
• approved professional development and training
• approved educational or reference materials

Grant funding is not to be used for capital expenditures such as renovations.

Eligibility

The Supported Child Care Grant is available to all licensed full-day, part-day centres, Child Development Centres (CDC’s) and Family Home Day Care Agencies.
