Supports Beyond Basic Assistance

Income Assistance helps with your basic expenses and special needs. Special needs include things that you need to find work, to start a job, to take training for work, or for your health and safety. The list includes things like:

• transportation
• child care
• eye glasses
• special diets
• emergency dental care
• funeral costs
• emergency shelter
• emergency fuel to heat your home
• a damage deposit to rent an apartment
• furniture
