Service Station

picture Like so many of today’s service stations, our example has a convenience store which sells tobacco and prepared food as well as providing other services:

  • Inspecting and repairing vehicles
  • Selling and/or renting movies
  • Selling propane and motive fuel

This service station is near a highway, but on municipal water and sewage. To start up, the business would need to complete these requirements:

  • Name Reservation Request Form
  • Registration of a Business Name, Partnership or Sole Proprietorship
  • Incorporation Instructions
  • Business Occupancy
  • Building Plans Approval
  • Building near Highway and Access to Property Permit — Residential & Commercial
  • Retail Vendors Permit (Tobacco Retail Vendor Seller Permit)
  • Retail Service Stations (Gasoline Propane and Diesel Oil Retail Vendor Seller Permit)
  • Fuel Safety (Installation) Permit
  • Fuel Safety (Company) License
  • Issuance of a license to operate an inspection station
  • Motive Fuel Retailer Approval
  • Petroleum storage tank registration
  • Film exchange License
  • Food Establishment Permit

Total Time: 16 hrs
