2008 Regulatory Craft Conference

pictureNova Scotia Labour & Workforce Development hosted its third Regulatory Craft in Nova Scotia Conference in September 2008, building on the success of the first conference in 2006.

The purpose of the conference was to allow provincial public servants to share best regulatory practices across departments and learn from other jurisdictions. By improving our regulatory practices, the government of Nova Scotia ensured a brighter future for our people, economy, environment and community.

The conference was sponsored by the Competitiveness and Compliance Initiative (CCI) in Nova Scotia Environment and the Department of Labour and Workforce Development. Through CCI, the departments are achieving excellence in regulatory practice and help fulfill their commitments to the Better Regulation Initiative.

More information on the conference can be found on its site.
