2007 Regulatory Craft Conference

pictureNova Scotia Environment and Labour hosted its second Regulatory Craft in Nova Scotia Conference in November 2007, building on the success of the first conference in 2006.

The purpose of the conference was to allow provincial public servants to share best regulatory practices across departments and learn from other jurisdictions. By improving our regulatory practices, the government of Nova Scotia ensured a brighter future for our people, economy, environment and community.

The conference was sponsored by Environment and Labour's Competitiveness and Compliance Initiative (CCI) Achieving excellence in regulatory practice across Environment and Labour and fulfilled the department's commitment to the Better Regulation Initiative.

More information on the conference can be found on its site. Slides and videos are available on the Schedule page, with photographs available on the Photo Gallery page.
