Membership Challenge - Reach for the Stars

How the challenge works:

  • Star Bullet One "Star" will be awarded to a Branch for each new member in the WI year (June 1 - May 31st) who has paid their dues for the year. At the end of the year, the number of new members will be tabulated and a winning Branch declared.
  • What constitutes a new member? A new member is anyone who has never belonged to WINS in the past OR anyone whose name does not appear on the preceding year's provincial allotment listing held by the WINS office.
  • Each year at the Provincial Convention or Annual General Meeting, the prestigious "Reach for the Stars" award will be presented to the Branch with the highest number of new members for that year.
  • Bonus stars: Two stars will be awarded to any Branch who either starts a new Branch or assists in re-organizing a disbanded Branch.
  • Award: The presentation of the plaque will be made at the Annual General Meeting or Provincial Convention.
