Raspberries are high in Vitamin C; one cup contains 40% of the vitamin C we need in a day. One cup of raspberries has 32% of the dietary fiber our bodies need every day. Add raspberries to your cereal, ice cream or low-fat yogurt, or use in wonderful desserts.

Raspberry U-Picks in Nova Scotia take pride in the quality of berries they offer to the marketplace, and if you are like many other berry lovers in the province, you would agree that they are a bargain at any price. Pick gently since they are the most fragile of all berries. They can be frozen whole in a single layer to brighten your winter menu. Just before serving rinse gently under cold water, if necessary, and drain on paper towel.
