Legislative Services facilitates the development, revision and approval of the department's numerous acts and regulations. This section co-ordinates the appointment process to the department's agencies, boards and commissions. Responsibility for the records management program and administration of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Routine Access Policy for the department resides with this section. Legislative Services is also responsible for the preparation and co-ordination of documents for submission to the Executive Council.
