  - Borrowing Policy

Who can borrow our resources?
We would like to include all interested readers, however, you must be a resident of Nova Scotia to borrow from our library.

How do I receive the resource?
We welcome all visitors in person to our library at Room 210, Harlow Institute, 176 College Road in Truro. If you are unable to come in person to check out your loan, we will send the resource to your local Agricultural Resource Coordinator (ARC) office for you to pick up.

How many items can be borrowed?
A member in good standing (ie, you do not have outstanding loans) is free to borrow up to 3 selections at one time.

How long may items be kept?
Material may be kept for 3 weeks. Most library material can be renewed once by contacting the Business Management Library at 893-6580 or by email to the Library Administrator. Items that have been placed on hold by another client may not be renewed.

What happens if library resources are lost or damaged?
Borrowers will be charged a replacement or repair cost for lost or damaged resources as well as an administrative fee.
