



The Office of Acadian Affairs serves as a central support agency for provincial government departments, offices, agencies and Crown corporations. It acts as a liaison between the Acadian and francophone community and the provincial government.
The Office of Acadian Affairs was formally established in 2004 by the French-language Services Act which confirmed the provincial government’s commitment to offering services in French. The Office of Acadian Affairs is responsible for implementing the French-language Services Act.
