Greg Keefe was appointed deputy minister of the Treasury and Policy Board and chief information officer effective December 8, 2008. Mr. Keefe had served as deputy minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations since 2004, and acting deputy minister for two years.
In his 32 years of service with the province, Mr. Keefe has been the executive director of program management and corporate services for Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations, and an auditor with the Provincial Tax Commission. He also held positions with the Nova Scotia Business Registry Project, the Registrar of Motor Vehicles and Provincial Tax Commissioner
Mr. Keefe has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary's University, Halifax, and is also a certified management accountant.
Mr. Keefe is married with two children and resides in Dartmouth.
