  • Carries out regional geological studies, stratigraphic interpretations and basin analysis of coal and hydrocarbon basins
  • Studies, compiles and synthesizes the geology of Nova Scotia coalfields
  • Studies the nature, geological setting and genesis of coal and hydrocarbon deposits
  • Conducts geoscience studies in support of economic development of geologic sites in the Carboniferous Basins
